Great businesses have one thing in common: great leaders. Through the Green Leaders Innovation Grant program, the New England Nursery Association offers funds to inspire, celebrate and support NENA members who are extending their creative and innovative reach beyond the traditional horticulture industry. Green Leader grant recipients are innovators, progressive thinkers, and agents of change. They discover new ideas and new perspectives and, perhaps most importantly, they share what they learn with their fellow NENA members.
The objective of the Green Leaders grant program is to provide funding and encourage individual innovation that empowers and benefits NENA members, as well as New England’s horticulture community.
What inspires you and your team?
• Is there a conference you’ve always wanted to attend?
• What about a seminar presented by a forward thinking business guru?
• How about that energy saving or recycling initiative you’ve wanted to investigate?
• Could you make a dent in that list of business books you’ve been waiting to read and share with your team?
• How about a trend spotting, retail road trip to a neighboring state?
• Why not take that business course that sparked your interest?
Generally, NENA’s Green Leaders grant awards range from $250 - $1000 and are used for activities that promote, inspire and support leadership and business development.
