The New England Nursery Association (NENA) is dedicated to providing nursery professionals with the most current and highest quality information. Since 1912, NENA has worked to benefit those in the business of growing and selling green goods.

Founded by New England industry members, NENA has a long and successful history of promoting and building relationships that benefit both nursery professionals and their businesses. Over the years, NENA has charted a course to build broad-based support among industry professionals. The association works to offer and expand an array of informational services and facilitate conversations that ensure an up-to-date understanding of consumer needs, market demands and emerging trends - all essential factors in ensuring profitability for member businesses and for building the New England green industry.

NENA is a proud supporter of the Cary Awards - a program to promote outstanding plants for the New England landscape. Since 1997, Cary Award winning plants have been selected annually by a committee of renowned horticulturists from across New England. The 2009 award winners are:
